My Favorite Reads from 2021

I was able to read only 11 books in this overwhelming year.

And if I complete the book, I’m reading, I’ll be able to complete the goal I set for this year.

I read some of my best reads this year and I might have found my new favorite Non-Fiction book.

Here’s my top 5 reads of 2021:

  1. $ 100 Startup by Chris Guillebeau

One on the most finest and practical books I’ve read so far. It gives you a lot of wisdom on how to go about starting something on your known and converting your passion into a business.

Well researched with examples of people who have done it on their own with very less.

  1. The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel

Money is not about how much you earn, but it’s about how you behave.

This concept has been very strongly justified by the author in a very easy way. This book helps you to take control and manage your money. A must read for everyone to get the financial knowledge in creating wealth.

    1. Let’s Build A Company by Harpreet S. Grover and Vibhore Goyal

Such an admiring story of two young entrepreneurs building a company from scratch, ups and downs and a great exit. A lot to learn from this honest account of their entrepreneurial journey. Also loved the values they established in CoCubes, it is worth replicating in other organizations as well.

    1. Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson

This book hits hard in it’s way of throwing out the traditional notions of running a business and updating them as per the new reality.

You don’t have to work miserable 60/80/100 hours to make it work. You don’t have to deplete your life savings or take a boatload of risk. Starting a business on the side while keeping your day job can provide you all the cash flow you need.

Learn to rework work through this book.

    1. The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down by Haemin Sunim

Wisdom is not something we have to strive to acquire, rather, it arises naturally as we slow down and notice what is already there.

The Buddhist monk showers you with such great messages and life advices helping you reach mindfulness, build healthy relationships and much more….
